US automation services company Accelirate has announced an expansion to Medellín that will create 100 local jobs, according to local business and entrepreneurship incubator Ruta N.
From Medellín, the company plans to continue advancing its work of providing digital transformation solutions, such as AI and robotic process automation (RPA) tools, to companies in a range of sectors, including banking, finance, insurance, healthcare, retail, and education.
In May, the company’s growth in these fields was demonstrated when it became a platinum level partner with UiPath, a leading global RPA company.
Accelirate, which already has a presence in India, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates, chose Medellín due to the availability of developer talent with familiarity in the type of automation technologies it specializes in and the city’s general maturity as a stable market for software development, added Ruta N when announcing the news.
“Our city has become a hub for development and innovation recognized by governments and companies from all over the world that come to see and copy our development model,” said Juan Camilo Mergesh, executive director of local business promotion agency ACI Medellín.
“Much like Accelirate,” he added, “many companies are now arriving to improve the labor outlook by offering high-level employment and contributing to the quality of life of our people and surroundings.”
